About the Ethical Council of Humanity (ECoH)

Self-understanding

The Ethical Council of Humanity is not an institution in the conventional sense. Ethics is not the outcome of voting or majority opinion; it is the expression of inner freedom, lived awareness, and universal connectedness.

Our mandate is to carry impulses of awakening and authentic action into the world – free of lobby, doctrine, or power interests. We are neither a political committee nor a stakeholder body; we are a resonance space for the force of life itself.

Membership

Members of the ECoH are not elected officials and they do not represent organisations. Membership arises through recognition and resonance – not through elections, applications, or appointments.

It cannot be transferred, inherited, or bought. Members embody inner clarity, presence, and independence.

They act from the freedom of universal life, not from self-interest. Membership is not a title or status; it is a commitment to truthfulness, integrity, and lived ethics.

Incorruptibility

Members of the Council are incorruptible. They refuse advantages, positions, or funds that could compromise their inner freedom or the Council’s independence. Manipulation, lobbying, or power games are incompatible with membership.

Financial contribution

The Council’s work is carried out without conditions or dependencies. The same holds true for the livelihood of its members.

Members live through gifts and donations from people who perceive and support the Council’s mandate. This support is unconditional – it is not payment for services but a free gift.

Whoever supports the Council supports the sustainable preservation of humanity and the possibility for life to flow freely again.

This safeguards the independence of the members and at the same time secures their basic needs. Transparency regarding income and use of funds is self-evident for us.

Work mode & projects

The ECoH does not impose instruction and does not exert pressure. People already carry what is viable within themselves – that is where we start.

The Council offers approaches in thinking and behaviour that serve humanity and life within the larger system. It publishes statements and position papers that provide orientation and inspiration without forcing them on anyone.

Through surveys and open dialogue formats, community becomes tangible and publicly visible. Concrete project invitations are announced separately and invite participation.

Vision

We believe that ethics is not decided, it is lived. From the freedom of each individual arises the power to renew humanity as a whole.

The ECoH sees itself as a catalyst, not an authority. We invite everyone to rediscover the source of clarity and compassion within themselves – for a human existence grounded in freedom, dignity, and connection.

Source

What the Council speaks or publishes is not a collection of personal opinions. It is the breath of life itself that speaks – free, clear, and in service of the whole.

Protection formula

Whoever tries to extinguish the Council or its members attempts to extinguish life itself – and simultaneously turns against themselves and humanity. Yet the breath of life cannot be erased.
